Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how DiriCode ("the App"), provided by MyaKids, collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our parental control and digital wellbeing service. DiriCode is designed to be installed on both a parent's device and a child's device to enable parental monitoring and safety features.

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We are committed to protecting the privacy of both parents and children.

To provide our parental control service, we collect the following types of information:

Account Information: Parent's name and phone number for account creation. We generate a unique pairing code to link parent and child devices.

Device Information: Device identifiers (including unique device IDs via MDM profiles on iOS), device model, OS version, battery level, and available storage.

Installed Applications: List of apps installed on child's device (names and package identifiers) for app blocking and usage monitoring.

Location Data: With parent's explicit consent, precise GPS location of child's device. See Location Tracking section below.

Usage Data: Screen time data and app usage statistics for activity reports.

DiriCode collects precise GPS location data from the child's device at regular intervals (approximately every 5 minutes) for real-time location tracking and safe zone alerts.

How used: Shared exclusively with linked parent account for map display, arrival/departure notifications, and location history.

Background collection: Location is collected in background even when app is not in use. Device shows location services indicator.

How to disable: Parent can disable from parent app settings. Location permissions can be revoked from child device Settings > Privacy > Location Services.

DiriCode is installed on children's devices by parents/legal guardians. We comply with COPPA.

Parental consent: Only parents can install on child's device after creating account and consenting.

Data minimization: We only collect data necessary for parental control. We do NOT collect photos, emails, messages, or browsing content.

No advertising: No targeted ads, no selling children's data.

Parental rights: Parents can review, modify, or request deletion of child's data anytime.

DiriCode uses:

Google Firebase (Google Cloud): Firebase Authentication for login, Cloud Firestore for data storage, Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications. Data stored on Google Cloud servers. Link: policies.google.com/privacy

Google Play Services: Required for Android functionality.

These may collect device identifiers and usage data per their own policies.

The app does not use cookies directly. Third-party services (like Firebase) may use cookies or similar technologies. You can accept or refuse via device/browser settings.

Data retention: Data retained only while account is active.

Account deletion: Request via support@diricode.com. Processed within 30 days.

What gets deleted: All account info, device data, location history, app usage logs, all PII.

Automatic deletion: Location history older than 90 days auto-purged.

All transmission encrypted via TLS/SSL. Firebase data protected by Google Cloud enterprise security. No method is 100% secure.
